A retro industrial building for a wedding in Italy

Posted on February 8th, 2013 by Stefania Del Zotto

Hello lovely ladies!

Are you impatiently looking forward to the week end too? Only one day to go!!!

Today I’ve got some photos to show you…I eventually managed to go through the pictures we took last November during a corporate party that we organised in Vicenza, Veneto.
The event was held in Fabbrica Saccardo, an old archeological site which has been recently converted in a stunning location for events and art exhibitions.

Guess what? When we were there we both (Sylvie and I) had the same thought – this would be a perfect and unusual place to organise a wedding reception…maybe a vintage one!
Have a look at the few pictures we took during the event, I simply love this place full of history and character! Plus the location in the hill of Vicenza is simply stunning!!!

A big thank you to Morgan, who allowed us to work on this project, and a great thank you to Belinda who help us decorating the venue with her fabulous vintage furniture!

I found some nice old little chalk boards on e-bay (they came from a primary school in UK) and I thought they would perfectly match the style of the venue. We used one of the on the welcome table, at the entrance, and the others in the reception table to display the name of the food.
