Spring is finally arrived here in Italy, trees are blossoming and the sun is shining up in the sky..
It’s time to get in a colorful mood and share some stunning wedding! It was not by chance we decided to share the wedding of Argentina and Vanni. A big thanks to Love Folio Photography for sharing with us some amazing wedding pictures!
Argentina & Vanni got married in a late summer day in the magnificent Val D’Orcia, one of the most amazing places in the Tuscany region. Their wedding was an intimate event with the closest family and friends characterized by simple and elegant details.
Time really flies, I cannot believe it’s already February…It seems yesterday we were talking about the amazing summer we had here in Italy!! Even if winter is not a busy wedding period, it is a wonderful time to get married!
In Italy there are some really nice places you could have your special day…
Today we will travel to the amazing Dolomites panorama with the wedding in the snow of Iris and Werner who got married in Trentino Alto-Adige region.
This is our first real wedding feature of the year and we couldn’t begin in a better way!
A big thank you to Lene Photography for sharing with us these amazing pitures…
Happy Monday sweeties!
We are almost at the end of a fantastic year of weddings, inspirations and beautiful Italian venues! Did you enjoy our selection so far? It’s not finish yet! Today we will share with you the last real wedding of the year….and I’m warning you it is a super romantic one! A big thank you to Sandra Åberg who kindly shared with us these beautiful pictures.
Lenie and Francesco got married in a hot day of June at an amazing castle in the South Tyrol, an Italian region in the north of Italy, surrounded by the Dolomite mountains.
After an outside ceremony Bride and Groom with their guests moved to a panoramic terrace on the top of the Prosels Castle and enjoyed a spectacular view of the countryside nibbling on freshly cut speck, chunks of Parmigiano Reggiano, and sipping champagne, before moving inside to a ballroom in the castle for the formal dinner. The event was simple and elegant, the venue was spectacular – a majestic castle preserved in in its original format and dates back to 1279 – and based on the pictures I guess the food was really tasty…The right combination for a perfect wedding!

The sun is shining again here in Italy and it makes me so happy I will share with you an amazing wedding captured by Valerio Di Domenica! When I first saw these pictures I was overwhelmed with emotions and I think you will too.
Greta and Fabio got married on a sunny day in the romantic city of Romeo and Juliet, Verona. An intimate and simple event with the closest family and friends in the Venetian countryside but with a lot of surprises and laughs! I love the bride Greta’s style.. a simple flawy dress adorn with a pair of beautiful coral sandals. What about the bouquet? Simply stunning, with some shades of blue and pink…
Nuff said, here’s the twist of the plot… Bride and Groom, together with the photographer Valerio decided to have some pictures in a suggestive yet dreaming birch forest. Suddenly, in the middle of the shooting, some unexpected “guests” arrived…. A bunch of cows grazing interrupted a lovely session and became the part of an amazing wedding shoot!! I love it! A big thank you to Valerio, Greta and Fabio for sharing with us these stunning pictures.
Last week we shared with you a mood board inspired by a decadent-industrial style…for the alternative brides out there! We love this theme so much that last winter we found an old building and we took some photos…yes, we kept it secret until now…autumn is here and it matching perfectly this time of the year…
Thanks to Monia Merlo for capturing these magic place and the amazing team who worked in that cold day!
Nested in Murano, one of the most remote islands in Venice, there is an ancient and unique district of creative minds producing glass wonders.
You would never imagine that those fascinating old buildings, that we have admired many times in our traveling for one wedding or another, give shelter to such an amazing treasure of glasses of different shapes and colours.
We tried and succeed to be special guests in one of them and had the pleasure to set an unusual wedding shoot.
The shooting’s theme was based on the building features – a decadent look, warm dark colours such as rust, dark reds and brown with a touch of white and blush (to contrast the others). All within a minimal setting.
This was applied to the dresses choice too – a pale pink dress, with simple lines which contrasted the model’s red long hair; and an unconventional rust flower patterned skirt with a lace black top.
The choice of flowers was easy…we wanted something delicate, elegant and loose…so we decided to go for white ranunculus.
I know many of you are in Autumn mood already but we can’t miss sharing this colourful summer shooting we organised last June!
Not sure if you remember but we launched a small competition for a couple to win a shooting taken by our friend and talented photographer Aljosa Videtic…well, Chiara and Andrea (aka Brolli) won it!
We know Venice quite well and we know places that are not so popular. One of them is the little island of Burano, a few minutes away from Venice. It is a small fishermen village known for its beautiful coloured houses…so we thought it would have been the perfect place for this summer save the date!
Chiara and Andrea liked the idea and joined us in probably one of the hottest days of the summer…if was so much fun!!!
Have you ever thought of having you wedding in an unusual place like Burano? We have all the right information for you!
Hello wormy September! What a nice month for an Italian wedding…
Today I will share with you a super romantic one…I send a big thank you to Elisa and Marco of Studio26 who send us these beautiful pictures.
Cecilia and Alessio are a really sweet Italian couple who got married in Umbria, a beautiful region in the centre of Italy. Their wedding was a warm and cozy event between laughs, jokes and emotions…
The love between the two was palpable as you can see from how they look so romantically to each other.
They changed their vows in a stunning little church with suggestive frescos on the walls and an antique wooden sealing. The party continued in the Fattoria Caldese where all the guests, as part of a one big family, had lots of excitement dancing and laughing with the happy couple!
I love the bride Cecilia’s strapless, simple and elegant dress. The floral crown, which was made by the bridesmaids, is a really beautiful detail that complete a really chic and delicate style. Enjoy their story…
This year summer is really popping here in Italy and I’m so happy about it. It makes you want to stay outside, feeling the sun, enjoy the sounds of nature. In one word: holiday!
So today I will share with you a stunning summer wedding which took place in Ravello, a little town in Campania region on the Amalfi Coast, UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for the panoramic view on the Salerno bay.
The bride Rosie and the groom Tony got married in a beautiful terrace with an amazing view of the bay. Searching for the perfect wedding photographer in Ravello they fell in love with the talented Gianluca Adovasio. Thank you for sending us these beautifull pictures!
The bride’s dress is stunning with a lace see-trough bustier and a semi long train, the groom also really elegant with a blue and black suit and bow tie.
I really love this lovely couple, you feel all the emotion and love of their special day…
Let’s start the week with an amazingly romantic wedding in our beloved Venice!
Serena and Pierre-Oliver got married in a sunny September in the intimate island of Torcello.
Their story starts one year earlier when at midnight of Christmas Eve Pierre-Oliver proposed to Serena in the magical Piazza San Marco. No wonder that they were absolutely sure about the location for their wedding: Venice <3
I love the style of the event, rustic but elegant with a perfect match of the colours white, salvia green with a touch of Bordeaux. Serena and Pierre-Oliver thought of every single detail from the favors – little soaps wrapped in a vintage packaging – to the names of the tables – inspired by celebrities the visited the Island of Torcello.
Today I feel particularly romantic so I will share with you a beautiful love story.
Remko and Roger are Dutch and this is their wedding…
They got married in Puglia last July after a long and accurate planning. Surrounded by the nature they promised their eternal love in front of friends and family.
What’s more romantic than having your wedding surrounded by secular olive trees?
It feels like being in a dream…
They started the day in a Palazzo de Mori in Otranto accompanied by their sweet three nieces and their trusted Labrador! With a vintage spider car, all five arrived at the wedding ceremony location, a stunning olive tree grove.
The celebration continued in a stunning venue in the beautiful countryside of Salento, the Tenuta Centoporte.
I really love the long table, its setting and all the decoration in the garden…
Remko and Roger are a beautiful couple and their love transpire from these amazing pictures taken by Andrea Antohi and Francesco Gravina!
