Happy monday girls,
Hope you’ve had a lovely sunny week-end like we’ve just had here in Venice: spring is back over Venice, and am happy to share with you today part II pictures of Giada and Davide’s vintage wedding in Friuli!
After they told us about how they first met, here we are today with Giada’s great tips about the organization of their big day!
Giada and Davide chose a Friuli winery called Tenuta di Castelvecchio in Sagrado. They visited quite a number of locations before they fell in love with the winery! They were amazed by the old and elegant charm that such a venue can offer; the few old century oaks standing at the venue main entrance as well the stunning view over the hills and vineyards all around…They felt that was the perfect place to arrange their vintage style wedding!
And what about their retro chic vintage decoration? Such a lovely idea! Giada explained they both love the vintage style! A lot of the embroidery they used for their vintage setting belonged to Davide’s grand mother, who once upon a time, was sewing dresses for ceramic dolls.
I love the idea of using material and objects that belonged to the family! This creates continuity, and is a good way to remember your loved ones too! And you? What would you like to use for your wedding which belonged to your family?
