If you fancy saying “cheers” with a white sparkling wine at the end of your wedding meal, why don’t you choose a tasty glass of Prosecco?
Very similar to Champagne but much cheaper, Prosecco comes from the North East of Italy – Treviso province, a few miles far from Venice. This is a product local people are strongly proud of, so that it has become part of this province tradition.
Once drunk mainly in bars before lunch or dinner, it is getting more and more popular during parties and celebrations – you can see us cheering at Sylvie and Gianluca’s wedding!
People from this area quite like foreign tourists enjoy with a refreshing glass of Prosecco and it is for this reason a lot of local wineries have started being open to the public.
We also recommend you take part in one of the many tasting tours available in the area – among wineyards, ancient buildings and cellars you will enjoy the beauty of this hidden and lovely part of Italy. If you would like to try, you can follow the The road of wine suggested by Prosecco Consortium for the tourist promotion.
